The Australia Day fixture is the first of a triple-header to be played on the final day of the regular season before finals commence on January 29.
The most simple outcome for the league wouldve been to host the match in Melbourne, given the Scorchers and Heat are both currently playing a stretch of games in Victoria until Saturday (January 23).
