Best mates’ bitter fight over $2.3m Keno win

Queensland retiree Ross Gregory Fels, who was last year ordered to repay $226,000 he borrowed from mate Sydney Frank Marsden after his Keno win, has launched a legal bid to avoid having to shell out the cash.Mr Fels, from Woodridge, south of Brisbane, has applied to the Court of Appeal to overturn the District Court ruling that found he was liable to repay the money to his former best mate Mr Marsden, from Logan Central.Mr Fels claims he should not have to repay the money to Mr Marsden because…
