Two coronavirus clusters growing in Queensland have not yet jumped the border, but they probably will, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has warned.
Ms Berejiklian says NSW should brace itself for new infections after a three-day lockdown was imposed on Greater Brisbane, and the Queensland outbreak grew by another eight cases.
NSW Health has stepped up testing in the state’s north, after a number of the confirmed cases partied in Byron Bay while unknowingly infectious.
