Bennett dumps star Rabbitohs recruit, Roosters consider whiz-kid debut – Sydney Morning Herald
Josh Mansour joined Souths in the off-season. He’s been ruthlessly axed after just one game for his new club.

South Sydney coach Wayne Bennett has ruthlessly dumped star recruit Josh Mansour after his first game for the club, recalling youngster Jaxson Paulo for Saturdays clash against Manly.
Mansour joined the Rabbitohs from the Penrith Panthers in the off-season after he was told he would not start the season in first grade. Unfortunately for the veteran winger, Bennett has wasted no time laying down the law, axing the 30-year-old after the round one loss to the Storm.
