‘Beggars belief’: Tassie’s Premier was so unhappy with an AFL letter, he leaked it
Furious Tasmanian Premier Peter Gutwein says it beggars belief as to why the AFL requires another year to assess the feasibility of establishing a club in the state, declaring its now time for the AFL to treat Tasmania fairly.
Mr Gutwein had given the AFL until 5pm (AEDT) on Friday to provide a clear timetable for the introduction of a Tasmanian-based club.
