The 94-year-old monarch will be briefed on the Oprah interview but reportedly has no intention of watching it.

The royal household last month said the couples decision to confirm their split from the monarchy meant it was not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service. They were both stripped of their honorary military appointments and royal patronages.
The pair later released a statement saying they remain committed to their duty and service to the UK and around the world.
