Dont expect answers to these weighty questions from Frank Marshalls rambling pastiche of a documentary. Marshall has had a long career as a producer, much of it with Stephen Spielberg, but his efforts as a director have been eccentric (Arachnophobia, Congo, Eight Below) and far from documentary forms.
The good news is that he got Barry Gibbs co-operation. As the last surviving brother, that was important, for many reasons. Barry has for a long time refused to allow Spielberg to make a biopic but…
