Battery uptake booms during coronavirus as clean energy gathers pace – Sydney Morning Herald
Australia’s uptake of household battery systems rose 20 per cent last year despite the COVID-19 crisis, showing the clean energy shift is gaining pace.

People are working from home so they are very conscious of power bills, but they have also got more time to actually research the technology.
As the pandemic caused unprecedented disruption to Australian daily life, rooftop solar and battery storage also offered consumers a sense of control, he added. Thats played into these numbers as well.
