Basketballer Chudier Pal charged with murder after body found in Doubleview house

A Perth basketball player has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found in a house in Doubleview on Saturday morning.
The 30-year-old’s body was discovered after emergency services were called to a fire at the Ravenscar Street property about 7:15am.
Homicide Squad detectives have charged Chudier Pal with murder.
Police said the man was known to the victim.
The 29-year-old has previously trained with the Perth Wildcats and competed in the State Basketball League.
He is expected to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
