Bulldogs coach Trent Barrett flew into Melbourne earlier this week for a player he hopes will join his Belmore rebuild. And it wasn’t just Josh Addo-Carr.
Barrett also met with Storm hooker Brandon Smith this week as the Dogs desperately search for a new No. 9.
Canterbury have struggled to find a top-class hooker over the last few years, and Kiwi international Smith would certainly tick the box.
