New Australian corporate advisory firm Barrenjoey Capital has poached senior JPMorgan investment banker Rob Stanton, who specialises in real estate sector deals.

It is understood Stanton, who oversaw JPMorgan’s busy Australian real estate team with senior banker Simon Ranson, has resigned from the American bank and will start at Barrenjoey Capital in the new year.
He is expected to continue to focus on real estate sector M&A and capital markets…
