Barnett says Peachey misheard alleged racial slur – Sydney Morning Herald
The Knights forward has admitted to calling the Titans star a c*** but vehemently denies he used a racial slur.
Barnett was interviewed by the integrity unit on Saturday and Peachey spoke to NRL officials about the incident on Sunday, with the results of the investigation set to be announced by chief executive Andrew Abdo in the next 48 hours.
The NRL are fast-tracking the investigation to give Newcastle clarity on whether Barnett will be available for selection when teams are named on Tuesday.
