Barbara Shelley, a British horror movie actress and Doctor Who star, has died aged 88 after contracting coronavirus.
She was best known for appearing in horror films in the 1950s and ’60s made by British film production company Hammer Film Productions. She starred alongside Christopher Lee in 1966’s Dracula: Prince of Darkness, while other notable credits include Rasputin: The Mad Monk, The Gorgon and Quatermass And The Pit.
