Barangaroo park promised next to Crown tower won’t be ready until 2025 – The Age
The one-hectare park was supposed to open before Crown welcomed patrons to its hotel and casino tower in December.

The NSW government planned Hickson Park as a one-hectare “green link” similar to New York City’s Bryant Park connecting the central business district to the retail and dining precinct at Barangaroo South.
The development consent for the casino complex insists the park be completed, landscaped and publicly accessible before the government issues an occupation certificate for the six-star Crown Sydney Hotel Resort.
