Banks: fees for no service refunds top $1.6b – The Australian Financial Review
The remediation bill for fees charged by the banks with no service provided has jumped by almost $600 million in six months.
Westpac has reported the number of customers wronged was comparatively small, however, at just 71,498, producing much higher offers of compensation per customer at about $8090 on average.
