Dr Foley, who took his complaints to Airservices Australia, said every flight stopped conversation in the house.
Most of the noise over his home was in the low 70 decibels the level at which things such as a vacuum cleaner interrupt normal conversation.
His loudest reading was an 82-decibel Qantas flight arriving at 4.10pm on August 28.
