Bain & Company consultants are working across Virgin Australia. They are providing advice on business transformation, procurement and technology, according to the airline. There are understood to be less than a dozen Bain consultants at the airline, led by David Emerson, a Dallas-based partner who is head of the firms airline practice. Virgin Australia CEO Jayne Hrdlicka is a former partner of Bain.
