Colac locals and visitors are being reminded to get tested for coronavirus even if they only develop mild symptoms.
It comes after viral fragments were found in a treatment plant sample on November 23, with a “strong” reading found on Tuesday.
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) now says they believe they have found the source of the positive wastewater sample, with Barwon Health identifying a man who returned to Colac and is shedding the virus, but is not infectious.
