Australia’s oldest motorbike postie completes his final mail route on Magnetic Island

When most other people his age were long into retirement, Roland de Chazal decided to become a postie.

And for more than two years the 81-year-old has been a friendly face zipping around Magnetic Island in north Queensland delivering mail on two wheels.
