Australians to have proof of their coronavirus vaccination on their smartphone

The Federal Government has revealed further details of its COVID-19 vaccination plan, confirming Australians will be able to access proof through their mobile phones they have received the jab.

- Australian’s vaccine program is due to begin later this month
- The Government Services Minister says certificates proving Australians have been vaccinated will be “widely accepted”
- He says Government is still working with other countries on how the certificates will work for international travel
Priority groups will start to receive the Pfizer vaccine from later this month, while the AstraZeneca jab is expected to be approved within weeks.
