Former world No 1 Karolina Pliskova is in a cranky mood today and picked up a code violation for smashing her racquet after losing the first set against fellow Czech and namesake Karolina Muchova.
After going down 7-5, Pliskova went to the bathroom to vent her anger in private only to return to the face the music from experienced British chair umpire Alison Hughes.
Pliskova questioned why she had been made to start the second set at 0-15 given her smash happened off court.
