Australian tennis No 1 Alex de Minaur has described Nick Kyrgios as “very misunderstood” as the close friends prepare for another assault on their home Grand Slam.
Kyrgios’ ‘good bloke’ stocks in the eyes of the Australian public have perhaps never been higher after a year in which he has raised big money for bushfire relief efforts and called out poor form on the COVID-19 behaviour front.
