Novelist Alexandra Joel had always known about her family’s close links to the British royal family, but she’s only now drawing on that history for one of her novels.
Joel has released a book called The Royal Correspondent, which is set in the 1960s and follows a young journalist from the “wrong side of the tracks” who finds herself mixing with royalty as part of her work covering the wedding of Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones.
