A former Victorian MP is waiting in limbo for a verdict on his incitement trial in Cambodia after he says it was adjourned with no set date.

Hong Lim is one of 15 people named in a group trial on charges of incitement or instigating incitement by the Cambodian Government.

It comes as part of the Government’s latest crackdown on political activists.

Mr Lim, who served in the Victorian Legislative Assembly for 22 years and did not go to Cambodia for the trial, told the ABC it being adjourned was a “typical move” made by the Cambodian Government.
