Over the last couple of days, Qantas made the news by timetabling international flights back into schedules from July 1. But it appears not to have run those plans by the Australian Government. The airline often works in lockstep with the Australian Government and enjoys good ties with it. This time, Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Michael McCormack, clearly did not get the heads up about the plan.
