There’s a lot of money going out the door, but much is to prevent a collapse rather than provide massive stimulus
At least we dont have to wonder if this is the budget that brings home the bacon. And at least we dont need to worry about whether the budget balance has gone up or down by some small percentage of GDP that matters to no one.
Of course we should never have given changes to budget balances as much focus as we did, but while were here, let us pour one out for the prediction of a surplus for 2020-21.
