Australian Border Force elevates its swearing-in ceremony to virtual heights.
Last week, Regional Commander Craig Palmer conducted the ABF’s first ever virtual swearing-in ceremony. Twenty-one Victorian
The newly sworn-in officers represented a cross-section of the diverse roles the ABF plays in protecting Australia’s border, including Air Cargo, Detention Operations, Field Operations, International Mail, National Trade Advice and Regional Investigations. While the State continues to grapple with COVID-19 restrictions, the opportunity for officers to partake in a virtual swearing-in ceremony was a nice change of pace for the region.
