Good afternoon everyone and welcome to day three of this enthralling first Test match between Australia and India.

It goes without saying that today is huge – can India get a big score on the board to put the pressure on Australia’s batsmen?

I don’t see the scoring rate suddenly ratcheting up to unprecedented levels – in fact I’d expect a lot more of the same from India’s top five batsmen. Patience and poise.

However, despite all that, I can see Australia having another bat later on under lights, one way or another.
