India have seized the momentum heading into the Border-Gavaskar Test series after a thrilling six-wicket win in the second T20 in Sydney on Sunday.

When the majority Indian crowd of 18,301 chanted “Kohli, Kohli, Kohli” from the Dally Messenger Stand, the man himself could almost have been excused for thinking he was batting in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Sunday night.
But when Kohli (40 runs from 24 balls) hung his bat out to a wide delivery from paceman Sams and Matthew Wade took a smart catch, Indias hopes took a dive. Pandya, though, got them to the line in rousing style.
