The Australian Government has announced the adoption of a 30% tax offset for video games development in Australia, a move intended to strongly boost the sector and enable it to snare a far bigger slice of the $250 billion global games development industry.The new initiative was announced this morning as part of what the government has dubbed its Digital Economy Strategy.
