AusSuper forces The New Daily on its 2 million members – The Australian Financial Review
The nation’s biggest super fund is handing over customer data from its 2 million members to the controversial news website as part of an ‘opt-out’ subscription.
According to the email sent to AustralianSuper members, titled Introducing The New Daily, the super fund notifies customers that their new subscription will automatically start in a few weeks.
To activate your subscription, AustralianSuper will supply your name and email address to The New Daily, it says.
This move could be seen to serve the purpose of inflating the online
