The owner of the KFC and Taco Bell chains in Australia is ramping up investment in deliveries and digital as COVID-19-wary customers eschew eating in.

In contrast, KFC’s same-store sales in Australia rose 12.4 per cent more than double the 4.9 per cent growth in the previous first-half as consumers flocked to its drive-through venues or ordered online for home delivery.
