The PM is not concerned about Europe’s move to pause the AstraZeneca vaccine, as the final analysis for the Novavax jab on order in Australia was revealed.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison is not concerned about reports of blood clots in some people who had received AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine in Europe.Denmark, Norway, and Iceland all pressed pause on the use of the vaccine overnight over blood clot fears.
The AstraZeneca jab will make up the bulk of Australia’s vaccine rollout, with 50 million doses produced onshore to complement around three million ordered from overseas.
