Aussie basketball star charged over allegedly assaulting woman – Fox Sports

Australian basketball star Mitch Creek has been charged with allegedly assaulting a woman in Melbourne last year.
Co-captain of NBL side South East Melbourne Phoenix, 28-year-old Creek has previously played in the NBA and starred for the Boomers on the international stage, and is in the conversation as possible MVP this NBL season.
But he now will not train or play with Phoenix as he awaits trial on what the NBL labelled deeply concerning charges regarding a November incident.
