Attorney-General John Quigley tries to link Liberal MP Simon O’Brien to WA corruption inquiry

WA’s Attorney-General has used parliamentary privilege to attempt to link Western Australia’s longest-serving Liberal MP to a scandal involving the alleged misuse of entitlements.

During the last Question Time of the year, John Quigley accused Upper House MP Simon O’Brien of sending a text message of support to disgraced former Liberal MP Phil Edman, who was the target of a Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) inquiry.
