Matthew Lloyd has hailed Fremantle as “a team on the rise” after their demolition job on 2019 grand finalists GWS.
Essendon champion Matthew Lloyd has heaped praise on Fremantles midfield following their demolition of Greater Western Sydney yesterday, declaring their attitude and fitness broke the 2019 grand finalists.
The Dockers won the game by 31 points but Lloyd said they could have destroyed GWS by more than 70 points if theyd kicked accurately. Fremantle booted 11.21 for the day after taking 22 marks inside 50.
Lloyd said Fremantles midfielders showed a far greater appetite to run than their opponents….
