Brickworks first-half net profit climbed 22.4 per cent to $71.2 million after revenue declined 3.8 per cent to $431.7 million. The company declared a dividend of 21c, up from 20c a share in the year-ago period.
The company said that another strong contribution from property was a key feature of the result.
Performance across building products was mixed, with the Australian operations largely unaffected by the COVID-19 pandemic and delivering significantly higher earnings.
