ASX to rise, Wall St rallies, oil leaps – The Australian Financial Review
Australian shares are set to rally, as global investors flooded back into equities, helped by rising oil prices. Iron ore dropped. $A lower.

Separately Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev argued for real-time settlement, calling the current two-day trade settlement period antiquated.
The clearinghouse deposit requirements are designed to mitigate risk, but last weeks wild market activity showed, Mr Tenev said, that these requirements, coupled with an unnecessarily long settlement cycle, can have unintended consequences that introduce new risks.
