ASX to rise on Wall St rebound, RBA decision awaited – The Australian Financial Review
Australian shares are poised to open higher, bolstered by a tech rebound on Wall Street. The RBA holds a policy meeting. Reporting season heats up.
Apple, Facebook and Netflix were each at least 1.3 per cent higher. The US listed shares of Altassian were up 1.6 per cent. Tesla gained 5.8 per cent.
Amid a January marked by pro-growth headlines out of Washington DC, good earnings reports and mostly strong returns (until last week), the Sell Side Indicator (SSI), our contrarian measure of Wall Street strategists bullishness on stocks, rose by nearly 1ppt to 58.4 per cent from 57.8 per cent, Bank of America said.
