ASX to rise on renewed US stimulus hopes – The Australian Financial Review
Australian shares are set to open higher, bolstered by a push by President Trump to secure more stimulus. Wall St higher. $A dips.

Still, passage in the Senate isn’t yet assured. All Republican leader of the Senate, Mitch McConnell, would say was that if Pelosi and the White House reach a deal and its passed by the House, the Senate would consider it.
The latest RealClearPolitics national polling average indicates some tightening in the presidential race. Biden’s advantage is now +8.9: he’s at 51.1% v Trump at 42.5%. The battleground states gap is now +3.9 for Biden.
