ASX to rise, Dow keeps 30,000 in sight, Tesla extends rally – The Australian Financial Review
Australian shares are poised to rise at the open, bolstered by further gains on Wall Street. Tesla nears another market cap marker.

Netflix, Alphabet, Facebook, Microsoft and Amazon all ended lower too.
At the close the Dow was up 328 points or 1.1 per cent to 29,591, slightly off its session peak; Chevron, Boeing and Walt Disney led the advancers. A 3 per cent drop in Apple paced the decliners. The S&P 500 rose 0.6 per cent; the Nasdaq ended up 0.2 per cent.
The VIX tumbled 4.1 per cent to 22.73.
Tesla extended its rally, rising more than 7 per cent at one point and lifting its market cap ever closer to $US500 billion ahead…
