ASX: The ASX is expected to rise at the open on Thursday after global markets rallied overnight, led by tech stocks. Facebook lifted more than 8 per cent while Googles Alphabet was also up 6.4 per cent.
The Australian dollar was also trading at US$71.77c this morning.
Wall Street: Wall Streets main indexes pushed higher on Wednesday local time as investors poured into tech stocks.
