Australian shares followed US stocks higher, rising 1.2% back above 6700 at the open. The major banks, miners, and tech firms were all on the march.

The company is 14 per cent owned by Bennelong Funds Management. In the first half of 2020-21 Credit Corp post-tax profits were $42.3 million, up 10 per cent from the same period in 2019-20. In December 2020, Credit Corp incorporated the purchase debt ledger (PDL) of new acquisition Collection House.
Credit Corps biggest improvement was in US debt buying, up 33 per cent to $8 million, but this was off-set by a 26 per cent decline in Australia and New Zealand lending down to $6.7 million.
