The ASX200 bounced around at the open, as declining energy and mining stocks dragged on gains in healthcare, information technology, and industrials.

Adairs sales have been strong all throughout COVID-19 thanks to a surge in home spending and the companys well-established online system, however the company has been reticent to provide guidance due to the persistent uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
But after reporting a total sales increase of 23.4 per cent for the first 23 weeks of the half, including a doubling of online sales, chief executive Mark Ronan said it was clear the result would be outstanding.
