An asteroid suspected to be the dense core of a planet broken apart by a number of collisions is believed to be made up of a staggering amount of metal.
An extremely rare asteroid made mostly of metal is worth an estimated $10,000,000,000,000,000,000.
Thats $10,000 quadrillion or a one followed by 19 zeroes.
While most asteroids are made of rock or ice, the mysterious 16 Psyche asteroid is nearly 27,200,000,000,000,000 (27 quadrillion 2 hundred trillion) tonnes of iron and nickel.
