Assassin’s Creed: Origins made you play as Bayek at the start of the game, Odyssey let you play as Kassandra or Alexios, but Assassin’s Creed Valhalla handles things differently.
You can play as Eivor in male/female form (both are said to be canon), and whilst you’ll choose one from the start, you can easily change between male and female as the game goes on through the pause menu. it’s a completely different way to handle the choice of sex than any other Assassin’s Creed game has in the past.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla launches on November 17th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
