ASIC departee Paul Newson lands on his feet – The Australian Financial Review
Newson has joined law firm Senet, which specialises in gambling law and regulation.
It didn’t take too long for ASIC’s just-departed executive director of financial services to land on his feet.
And unlike when his predecessor Michael Saadat moved to Afterpay, Paul Newson’s new gig – secured after what was reportedly a less than thrilling three months at ASIC – is unlikely to prompt parliamentary questioning and internal reviews.
