Western Australia’s oldest surviving World War II army prisoner of war, Arthur Leggett, has died in Perth aged 106.

Mr Leggett fought against the Italian army in Libya in the battles of Bardia and Tobruk.

He was captured by Germans during the battle of Crete in 1941, when he was 22 years old, and…
