It is a bold strategy from Seibold, particularly because his job is under pressure if the Broncos sink to a seventh straight loss against the competition cellar dwellers.
Team captain Glenn revealed the players and the coach had come to a compromise in the build-up to their Round 9 clash.
This week we have come together and said we want to turn things around, Glenn said.
One of the great things about our coach is hes always open to ideas. He likes to keep things his way but he does compromise.

Seibs understands that a football team doesnt work just one way, he understands you have to compromise between players and staff.

Seibs put it on ourselves to do whatever we need to do to make sure we turn up and do our jobs this week.
When you have the coach who is willing to change his training and listen to us, its great.
The relaxed approach this week involved a gold day on Monday and an optional captains run on Friday, where players could work on individual areas of their game if they chose to.
It appears as though Seibold has backed himself into a corner by giving the players more ownership over the sides preparation.

If the Broncos win under this strategy then what does that say about Seibolds coaching over the last six weeks?
On the other hand if the Broncos lose then Seibolds leadership will be called into question.
Either scenario is not a great endorsement for Seibolds coaching credentials, so is an interesting path for the under pressure coach to take.
However the Broncos just need to win, so perhaps this move is as brave as it is bold.
