Arcadia Queen’s wretched run with injuries in recent times has continued and the WA mare has been scratched from Saturday’s Group I Memsie Stakes at Caulfield.
The Bob Peters-owned Group I winner came out at 7.18am on Saturday morning, withdrawn with a foot abscess.
Arcadia Queen was one of the fancied runners in the Memsie after showing some promise she was returning to her former best with a first-up fifth in the PB Lawrence Stakes.
